Cuban Fugue No. 1

 (...) It is a splendidly composed piece, where the baroque form of the fugue declines in a contemporary Cuban style. It is also noteworthy that each musical idea that arises in the course of the work is, in fact, a derivation of the initial theme, according to the principle of obtaining the maximum of musical variety from a single minimum cell.
 This transcription fully respects the original text; however, the subdivision of the voices for guitar trio lends a new light of three-dimensionality and spatiality to the piece, while enhancing its dynamic potential.
